New Year, New Me!
I always love this time of year. For me, it is a time of renewed hope, motivation, goals and aspirations. We all know January is the month of RESOLUTIONS... unfortunately this word has taken on a negative connotation for many. But, if you are an optimist. such as myself, then you know resolution is a wonderful word.
A resolution is simply a firm decision to do, or not do, something. I encourage you all to take this time to really think about some of the goals and aspirations you have for this year.
One of the most common resolutions I hear from my clients is that they want to lose weight. This is an exceptional goal because it can positively impact so many aspects of your life. But rather than focusing on the number on the scale, focus on how you feel. Are your more energized, do you have a more positive attitude, and are you excited about the changes you see in yourself? A change in your perspective can make a world of difference. Rather than telling yourself, new year new me, focus on new year, better me. Think about ways you can improve yourself. Whether it be a physical change, emotional change or spiritual change, focus on what will truly make you happy.
